Regal is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Roger S.C. Phillips as Finance Director of Regal with immediate effect, and the resignation of Mr Glenn Featherby as Finance Director.

Mr Phillips (aged 49) is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry including 19 years at Amerada Hess Corporation (“Amerada Hess”).  Most recently, Mr Phillips was the Vice President and Director of Amerada Hess in London where he was in charge of finance for Europe, North Africa and Asia.  Mr Phillips' appointment is with immediate effect.

Mr Featherby has resigned as a director of Regal in order to devote more time to his other business interests.  The Board of Directors of Regal expresses its appreciation to Mr Featherby for his valued contributions to Regal.

The Board of Regal now comprises of the following directors:

• Mr Guenter Nolte (Chief Executive Officer)
• Mr Roger Phillips (Finance Director)
• Mr Bill Humphries (Non-executive Director)
